There are so many products and methods available for scar removal that sometimes it can be hard to decide which one to try. From natural cures to expensive treatments, scar removal is a big issue that many people deal with.
I have personally tried a number of products designed to minimize the appearance of scars and scar tissue. I am human and I have scars from carrying three children, but I have also had extensive surgeries and damage to my foot and ankle, so I have a lot of scars in that area too.
When I was sent the Scar Removal Plus gel to review, I wasn't sure which place was the best to test it first, so I went for the stomach scars since they are the biggest and the oldest. The directions say to massage the gel into the scar twice daily, so that is what I did. This blends in easily and only takes a few seconds to rub completely into the skin. There is no residue or stickiness left behind either.
I noticed a change in my marks and scars within the first few days of using this. They not only appeared lighter, but they didn't seem to be as thick or stand out as much as before either. After about a week, I could see less definition where the healthy skin meets the scars. They seemed to be almost blending in with the surrounding skin so you had to look to tell where they started and stopped. This was obvious before, so that is a nice change for me.
I like that this is something I can add to my routine without having to find extra time to do it. The process is so quick, you can apply it right after the shower, or before getting dressed, and you wouldn't even notice the extra seconds you used.
