Making Bacon Cheddar Ore-Ida Totchos

With a family of 5 , who all have different tastes, I often have to think out of the box for recipe inspiration. It is not often that I can serve something the basic way, somebody always prefers it altered or added to in some way.

Tater tots is one of the things I have to a little differently if I want everyone to be happy. It is simple to do, and you can personalize them to your own liking too. I use:

8oz sharp cheddar cheese- grated
2 oz crumbled bacon pieces
medium red onion chopped

Mix the cheese, bacon and onion together and set aside. I bake the tater tots to get them cooked inside, then pull them out and cover with the mixed ingredients. They go back in the oven just long enough to melt the cheese, remove and add cold toppings like sour cream, hummus, diced tomatoes and mushrooms, or whatever sounds good to you. That's it. Cheddar Bacon Totchos! Simple and quick, but tasty too.

*I was provided with a coupon for a FREE package of Ore-Ida tater tots to assist with my recipe. All opinions are my own.

KUKPO 8-Peice Measuring Cups And Spoons Set

My son is terrible at washing dishes, which has resulted in broken, scratched and otherwise ruined pieces and parts galore. I have had to replace half the items in my kitchen, including my measuring cups and spoons..or cup and spoon since the rest have gone missing. The new set is better, but don't tell him that.

I really like this set of measuring cups and spoons. They are cute and functional, yet compact enough to store anywhere. The smooth, level bottoms make measuring easy, with no pockets or places that don't get filled and throw off your recipe.

I like the coated handles because they give a firm but comfortable grip. My favorite part of these is the clasped rings that hold them together. They are sturdy and tight, so it keeps these neatly stacked, and in reach, and you can use the ring to hang them.

These clean easily with soap and water and dry quickly for repeat use. They look great with the bright colored handles, and they even have a curved side for pouring or drizzling. This has everything I need in a solids measuring set, and would make a great gift too!

Automatic Foldable Rain Umbrella

I have to say this is the best umbrella I have ever had. Not only does it look great, but it is sturdy, and holds up well to wind and rain. The bold purple color is pretty and eye catching, and much more interesting than a plain colored version.

Aside from looking great, this is so easy to operate. The umbrella handle has a two button control with up and down arrows. When you press the up, or open button, it snaps out and opens instantly, and has a nice, wide coverage area. When you are finished, you push the down arrow button, and it collapses the umbrella, so you can easily close it.

There is a strap with a Velcro closure to secure it tightly too. I love that this has a matching cover for storage and it folds up small enough to fit under a seat, in a tote, or you can carry it by the strap. It's fun and convenient, and does the job well. I have had several chances to use this with the weather here in Ohio, and I haven't had any issues yet.

Slimmin Suzie Clay Body Wraps

When I opened this box, I was surprised to find 8 packets of clay powder inside. I assumed that these would be like other wraps I have tried, a peel and stick type, with a cream or gel on them. Obviously, I was wrong. This set includes the pouches of powder, which you mix with water to create a clay, and two large stretch bandages for wrapping yourself after you apply the clay mixture to your skin. It is not difficult to use the body wrap kit, but it is more detailed and time consuming than the sticky kind.

You control the thickness of the clay depending on how much water you add to the powder. A small bit is all it takes to use this, and I found a thicker mix works best to avoid dripping and running once applied.

Wrapping the area was not a problem, but it is tricky to hold the wrap tightly in place while you try to pin it. The box does not include safety pins for this, only the little metal clips that often come with compression bandages, and these never seem to hold well for me.

I did notice a reduction of 1-3 inches each time I used one of these packets, and it seems to work about the same on all the areas I tried. It was not immediate, but after several hours I could see a change that seemed to stay, even after multiple days. I didn't have any reactions or skin issues from this, and there was no cold or burning sensation, but the wet clay itself did make me chilly after about 30 minutes. The instructions they sent me by email (there were none included) said warmth adds to the effects, so wearing this during a workout helped.

Hair Oil Moisturizer

When I moved into my home 7 years ago, I had no idea how hard the water was going to be here. As time went by, it became obvious that we had too much of something in our water. My skin needed moisture all the time and my hair became an absolute mess.

Enter the Hair Oil Moisturizer I was sent for review. This leave in conditioner is designed with a blend of Shea Butter, Coconut Oil and Jamaican Black Castor Oil. It leaves your hair feeling amazing after use. The bounce, shine and softness I have been missing is hidden right in this bottle.

The moisturizer has a unique scent to it, kind of like sweetened cream. It applies thickly enough to get nice coverage, but without running everywhere, or coming out in clumps that just sit on your head. You simply wash and rinse your hair as normal, apply the moisturizer and comb it in. That's it. Leave it in to get the full effects if the treatment.

The bottle is large enough that I find it worth the cost. It provides multiple applications, and for someone like me, who has damaged hair, that is a must. Let's be honest, just one application of anything is not going to fix badly damaged hair.

Meterteck Digital Multimeter (DMM) - Voltmeter, Ohmmeter, Ammeter

I thought I would have a lot more use for this tool, but after receiving it, I found I really didn't. The Multimeter works well, and seems to give me readings similar to other tools of this type, but it just isn't something I will use on a regular basis.

That said, if this is something you need, want, or have to replace, I think this version would be a good choice. The knob is easy to turn and stays aligned well during use, so no worries about it slipping to the next space or getting a bad reading. I like that this comes with two sets of probes, so you have an extra in case one gets lost or damaged. I like that it comes ready to go in the box, so I didn't have to purchase anything to go along with it. I like that anyone can use this once you know what it is for and it reads quickly too. The lighted screen option is great for working in low light, and the compact size means it can fit in the toolbox or storage compartment easily. I didn't have any issues or problems with this meter at all, I just won't be using it as often as I assumed I would when ordering, but that is on me and doesn't take away from how nice and handy this tool is.

Awesome Interactive Children's Magazines Featuring Their Favorite Characters

My kids love getting postal mail or deliveries. There is something about a package or letter for them that they just can't get enough of. When that mail is something they can enjoy later, they love it even more.

We were sent multiple kid magazines to review recently, and they were such a huge hit. Each book is geared around a character or theme like Spiderman, Disney Princesses or Scooby-Doo. There are a ton of different magazines to choose from, and each one is filled with fun things like activities, puzzles, posters and stickers.

The different themes reflect different age groups, so you can find something suited to boys and girls, ages pre-school and up.

My daughter and her friends are 9 and 10, and they still loved the magazines like Frozen and Care Bears. To tell the truth, some of the pictures and stickers were even fun for me and they were a great way to fit in a little mother/daughter time too.

I shared some of the magazines we received with my niece and nephew, as well as some of the neighborhood kids, so I could get a lot of opinions on these. As soon as I saw them, I thought how great they would be for gifts and i wanted to see if I was right. Everyone who tried these loved them and several have asked for more magazines, including the older kids.

You simply subscribe to the magazines you like and they send 6 different issues a year. Delivery is free and comes before the new issue hits stores, plus you can change your titles anytime to grow with your child or keep up with their new favorite characters.

I love this idea and think it would make an awesome gift that keeps giving all year long. The magazines are great for home or on the go and fun to share too!

My First Sweet Tooth Silicone Teethers

These cute silicone teethers are great for on the go. The convenient necklace attachment lets you wear it at all times, so no need to find and clean it every time baby loses their grip or gets bored with it. The bold colors make them eye catching and easy to find in the diaper bag too. The silicone cookies are super soft, but with enough resistance that baby can actually chew on them.

I like the set of three, so you can have a fresh one on hand at all times, or keep one in the diaper bag, purse or even your pocket for on the go needs. I like that the entire piece can be washed for a total clean. I like the color variety, so you can try to match your outfit if desired, plus you have one for boy or girl, mom or dad. I love how cute these are and the convenient storage box they come in too. The only issue I can see with these is that the clasps are not difficult to unhook, so it could be pulled off if tugged at hard enough. I don't see any harm in this, but it could result in lost necklaces. Of course, the necklace pieces are detachable, so you don't even have to use them if you don't want.

Tree of Life Carved Mahogany & Cedar Sculpture from Novica

I am in love with this rainbow colored piece of joy. It has made an impression on everyone who sees it and it looks amazing sitting anywhere.

This is really such a unique little piece that packs so much wow factor. The carving of the tree is beautiful, and the intricate curves and swirls create a stunning look. I love how the bright colors make each part stand out on it's own, and the overall effect is just gorgeous. The Tree of Life Sculpture is good quality and you can see all the details in it, down to the grain of the Cedar and Mahogany wood.

I love that this has meaning behind it, but appeals to many, just for it's look.
I love that the size makes it perfect for a shelf, coffee table, or even on the corner of your desk.
I like that this makes me smile when I look at it, and it makes a great conversation piece too.
I love that this is from a trusted company, and it supports a cause, all in one.
I have nothing negative to say about this and suggest it as a gift for almost anyone.

This tree is another of the amazing creations you can find at Novica. They have an amazing selection of crafted items for everyone.
