Eden Fantasys Review and Giveaway

If you are under the age of 18 or sensitive to sexual subject matter, you should click away now.

The said, I am not ashamed to admit it..I love adult toys. I believe variety is the spice of life and you have to keep it spicy in the bedroom! I can honestly say I have been married for 3 years and I have NEVER said no.Not only have I never said it, but I have never wanted to.In my opinion, a great sex life is the basis of a great marriage and thankfully my husband agrees.

You can see why I love Eden Fantasys. You can find a huge variety of items that suit every need.If you are looking for a great toy for yourself, they have it.The Endless Pleasure Vibe is too cute.
Want a little Sensual Love..check out their variety of lotions, lubes and oils like the Wet Warming Oil or the Body Slide.

My favorite section is the Sexy Lingerie. This is where  I chose my review item, the Darque French Maid Costume.

Like I said earlier, variety is a must.I chose to surprise hubby by wearing this and cleaning the tub when he walked in from work.Needless to say I didn't keep it on long, but the time I did was well worth it! The costume is made of vinyl and has a criss -cross cinch at the back like a corset. The ruffles are soft, not itchy and actually much fuller then they look in the picture.Darling husband wanted to know why the duster was not included,so I suppose I will get one for next time.

Eden Fantasys has decided to help one of my readers spice it up a little to by offering a $25.00 gift card !

Operation Kid- to-Kid

This week the kids have decided to go to Vacation Bible School. While I do not attend church,I am letting the kids chose their own beliefs. All 5 of them decided to give it a go this year and so every day this week -I get a break for 3 hours!

That is a great plus for me,but not why I am posting. The kids brought home a paper asking each of them to donate $3.00 as part of the Operation Kid To Kid program. This is an international mission project that allows hundreds of thousands of kids help children in Africa. The kids at the church will be creating special "God Loves Me" blankets. These thick, colorful and cuddly blankets will be distributed by World Vision along with backpacks filled with school supplies, health and hygiene products for orphans and vulnerable children. The kids are also doing Bible coloring books to send.

It is nice for the kids to participate in this and we have decided that they should donate out of their own money to better appreciate what they are doing.I expected complaints about this but so far they have kept quiet. You can visit the sites to find out more about both the program and World Vision if you are interested.

Summer Smash Reviews-Dot Girl

There comes a day in every girls life when she has to deal with that dreaded P word.I remember my first experiences with mother nature and the monthly "gift".I hated it.My mom was not very open about periods and we never really addressed the subject beforehand.I had,of course ,watched those horrible videos in health class at school(who makes those things?) but I still had no idea what I was going to go through.I knew what a pad was but no idea how it worked or why.

Thankfully girls today don't have to worry about that so much. There are many products and places to find information these days and one that I like is Dot Girl. Dot Girl offers many different products for girls during this trying time.

The Bff Period Panties are made of cotton/spandex and have a breathable extra layer built in to help keep leaks inside and not on their clothes.I know I have had a couple of experiences with leaks and would have loved to have something like this when I was just learning.

Dot girl offers great books like

"This guide, written by our friend Amy Lang of Birds + Bees + Kids, will help you clarify your values and beliefs about sexuality, love and relationships. You will have the solid foundation you want and need to talk to your kids about this important part of life. The exercises are short, easy to understand and leave you feeling confident and inspired to talk to your kids. No other book will prepare you for the "sex talk" like this one."

I received the The Dot Girls First Period Kit to review. The kit came in a cute pink zippered bag and was full of essentials for that special girl. The kit contains-

The Dot Girl's First Period Guide® , a 12-page booklet with answers to common questions

The Dot Girl's Period Calendar®, a simple way for a girl to track her periods
One Ultra Thin Kotex® Pad With Wings
Two Kotex® Lightdays® Panty Liners
Kotex® product brochure (product claims only valid within the U.S.)
One store coupon for FREE Kotex® products -a $4.90 value (valid only within the U.S.)
Reusable Dot Girl Warm Pad, a heating pad handy for soothing cramps
Scensibles™ Petite Pak (3 disposal bags inside)
Hand Wipes

I was able to sit down with Bri and go over what each thing was and what it was for. This was much easier having everything right there together and even a place to keep it until it is needed!

Dot Girl has offered a 10% discount to my readers. This is good for any purchase from the site.Just  use the code "blog" when you order!

I received the kit to assit in a review. The opinions are my own and the quoted information is from the site.

CSN Stores Review and Giveaway

As you know I am a huge fan of CSN Stores.I love the huge variety they have and the ease of finding what you want.At CSN you can shop by brand or by item with no problems.

As promised  I am bringing you a review of my newest, most fabulous CSN Stores find.

I chose the Chicco Baby Activity Walker for my nephew Kaiden. As many of you know, Kaiden has been with us for about 5 months now, and will be turning 1 on July 28th.

I chose the Chicco Walker toy for many reasons.First and foremost I like it because it it the right size and age for Kaiden. The walker is geared for ages 9 months and up,so it is perfect timing. The walker  is really two toys in one: a baby walker and an activity center that plays music when your baby walks .The
music stops when your baby stops walking which encourages your baby to take a few more steps.I have found this to be true,Kaiden loves the music and will push it forever to hear it play.

The activity center stimulates imagination and coordination by allowing baby to place balls and shapes into the correct holes. The items then fall into a tray so baby can do it all over again.I love the Chicco Baby Activity Walker and recommend it to everyone.

CSN Stores has offered one of my readers the chance to find something they like as well, by giving away a $25.00 gift certificate!

Baby Prodigy Review and Giveaway

As you know my nephew Kaiden lives with me most of the time.Kaiden is almost 1 and is a very active kiddo.I am always looking for new toys for him to play with or new things for him to do,so when I received the opportunity to review the Baby Prodigy dvds I jumped at it.

Baby Prodigy products combine cute and fun with learning to create the perfect baby items.

The first one we tried was the Shapes,Colors and Games.
I figured Kaiden would go for this because he loves shape sorting. The interactive play along with the fun based games makes it all the more attractive.Kaiden liked the Barber Shape Quartet the most. This dvd is for ages 1 year and over so it may still be a bit ahead of him,but in my book it is never too early to learn.

Next we tried  Baby's First Words.
This edition features Dookie and Dottie Duck, the famous baby Prodigy Puppets, in a musical journey filled with colorful animation to introduce and reinforce certain vocabulary. This is a great way to entertain baby while teaching new words.I loved that it focuses on everyday words we actually use with beginners. This is for ages 6 months and up and is perfect for new talkers.

Our last review was for 30 Minutes to a Quiet Baby.

I wasn't sure if Kaiden would be too old for this one.It is supposed to be for ages 3 months and up,but I am thinking that may be because of attention span.Kaiden seemed to enjoy the music but he wanted to dance and not sleep or rest. When he starts dancing ,he starts singing,so this did not lead to a quiet baby.Again he will be turning 1 in about a week so I didn't expect him to be quiet.I did try it when he was napping though and he slept great. It reminds me of the soothing music on a baby swing, yet you can play this even if using a crib or bouncer or anywhere else baby sleeps.

You can find Baby Prodigy on Twitter and  Facebook or on their site.

WHERE TO BUY
You can buy Baby Prodigy products at Toys R Us  or you can enter this GIVEAWAY for a chance to win all 3 movies I reviewed.!

GIVEAWAY-One winner will win their own set of 3 dvds just like mine.

Summer Smash Review-Sox That Rock

My Reagan is a princess.I started this obsession when she was little and now it has grown to a lifestyle for her.Reagan loves anything that makes her beautiful, as she says.I have to put her :regular" clothes on a shelf in her room because she has so many dresses and dress-up outfits in her closet.

I wish I could say that is where it ends, but I would be lying.Reagan has more shoes then I do,purses hanging from every doorknob in her room, and a bin full of accessories in her closet. One of Reagans favorite things is footwear. We have socks in every color and style, tights, leg huggers and more.

Reagans favorite socks by far are from SoxThatRock.I won a gift certificate to the Etsy shop in a blog giveaway a few months ago.I ordered socks for  Reagan who is 4,my niece who is 5 and my step daughter who is 10.All three of the girls loved them.I was able to chose the styles and colors I wanted and each pair was custom made.

Sox That Rock offers more then just socks.Look at  these cute ruffled leggings that Reagan is now asking for

There is also a wide variety of hair accessories to chose from like these Hello Kitty clips

or this fabulous headband with flower accent

I loved the items we received. The order was processed fast (especially since they are hand made) and the items were exactly what I wanted. I have washed the socks many times and the beads have not fallen off.I also have the ribbon socks which have held together just as well.

MY FAVORITE PART
Sox That Rock even has a Pay It Forward section where part of the purchase price is donated to charity.I think this is such a great thing to do and could make a wonderful gift if given with a card telling about the donations that were given from the items. This way they get an actual gift and the gift of giving as well.

I was not compensated for this review.I decided to add it to the summer Smash because they are such cute summer items. All opinions are my own and that of the girls.

My Movie Reviews-Green Zone

As I have said before,I am a huge fan of movies.I am NOT, however, a fan of Green Zone.

Matt Damon, what were you thinking? Seriously, you couldn't find a better role then this? I am so sick of watching these half assed war movies about the damn Middle East.
First of all if you are going to show a movie about the U.S. versus the Iraquis,Isrealies,Saddam or Bin Laden, at least tell it like it is.I love how the movies show all the guts and glory, but never much of the rest. You see three seconds of a screaming soldier and never see him again.Where are the suicide bombers.ambushes and children with guns?

Secondly, how come the hero never dies? Why do the bad guys always get killed or get away?
Why is it that nowone important ever gets killed unless he does so in a blazing showdown.Seriously?

People may disagree and that is their right.
I  believe that War is not a joke and is not to be taken lightly.I want to see what our soldiers have done for our freedom, but I want it real- not sugar coated and spoon fed.

This review was done for my amusement.I was not compensated for this review in any way and in fact lost money by renting the movie to begin with.

My Movie Reviews -Brooklyn's Finest

If you know me, you know I am a fan of movies.I love to watch new ones but honestly,I don't care much for watching most of them again.Last night thanks to hubby and of course the Blockbuster movie kiosk,I found a movie that I plan to buy.Brooklyn's Finest.

First I will say, this movie is not for everyone. If you are not a fan of violence, nudity,or adult content..
DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!

If, however,a little T and A doesn't bother you, then you have to check this movie out.Not only is it packed full of familiar faces like Richard Gere,Ethan Hawke,Wesley Snipes and Don Cheadle, but the story line is crazy.

3 different cops,3 different lives each with  1 final battle for everything. There were a few parts that were kind of slow, but honestly I didn't see anything I would have left out.The movie touches on so many topics with twists I never expected.I wouldn't say this is a deep or touching story in the usual sense, but it does dig deep into the minds of it's characters.

Everyone may not agree, but I stand by my opinion.I love this movie and I want it NOW! I am already wanting to see it again and it hasn't even been 12 hours.

I was not compensated in anyway for this review.I rented the movie on my own and the opinions are mine as well.

Zelt Belt Review

I don't know about you,but my kids all seem to have trouble keeping their jeans up.I guess maybe it;s because they are taller then they are thick,so we have to buy according to length. This is especially a problem with my daughter Reagan who is now 4.Reagan is only 30 pounds and she is tall for her age which equals a very petite toddler with sagging jeans.

I came across a giveaway a few months ago for a zelt belt. The zelt belt has a Velcro closure to ensure a perfect fit that will last for a few years.I chose the pink with hearts design for my belt when I won the giveaway and was thrilled with it when it arrived.

The first thing I noticed it that is is strong and has an amazing hold. The zelt has never come undone or loosened when it was being worn.It easily fits through the loops on her jeans and the Velcro keeps it nice and snug-no more saggy bottom pants!

The zelt is available in a variety of colors and styles and is a must have for toddlers. They can fasten and unfasten it themselves to use the restroom and it helps them feel like a big kid too!You can buy the zelt from
Zig Zag Creations on Etsy. This would make a perfect gift for any little one -in fact why not get a few and have a variety of styles and colors to match everything!

I was not compensated for this review.I won the belt and decided to share my find with others.

Summer Smash Recipes #1

As promised I am starting the Summer Smash events.I am waiting on a few review products to arrive,or time to actually review the items before I can start that part...and of course the GIVEAWAYS too! For now,I am bringing you some favorite recipes I make for gatherings in the summer.

On the lower left is the cake.I don't have a picture of it alone-sorry!

                                        BUTTERFINGER CAKE

You can make this using your own chocolate cake or a boxed mix.I prefer the pudding in the mix boxed kind if you go that route.

You Will Need-
A  9x13 Chocolate cake prepared. You will want it to be cooled before you do the rest.
1 Tub Cool Whip
1 Jar Caramel topping (for ice cream or desserts).I like my cake gooey,so I use a large 16 or 18 oz jar, but you can use a normal 12 oz jar if you like.
3 Full size Butterfinger Candy Bars or about 12 bite size ones-
(you need to freeze these for about 5 minutes first and then  break or crush into pieces).I prefer to leave them in the wrapper while crushing and use a large hard plastic drinking glass or rolling pin.You will need to smash them until they are small pieces .(Think shredded  coconut to chocolate chip sized pieces).

1.Transfer cake to serving tray or leave in pan if you slice it directly from there when you eat it.You will not want to move it after the next step.

2.Warm the caramel topping, either put the jar in a bowl of hot water,or put in the microwave for a few seconds. You want it to be pourable, but not overly runny.Remove jar, open and stir well.

3,Insert  a skewer or small paring knife into the center of cake.Insert straight down to bottom of pan/dish and pull slightly to the side.Pour a small amount of caramel into the slit until the caramel  reaches the top of the cake.Repeat the process all over the cake .You will want to space out your inserts all over the cake to allow the caramel to soak into as much of the cake as possible.I usually end up with about 20 small slits filled with caramel.this should take about half  the caramel at first.Allow cake to sit for about 15 minutes and pour more caramel into the same slits again. You should have small holes filled with caramel at this point.Use the remaining caramel to pour along the outer edge of pan/cake so that it drizzles down the sides.Put in fridge for about 10 minutes to set.

Spread Cool Whip to taste across top of cake.I like to use the whole tub to give a nice layer, but you can adjust this to your liking if you don't care for too much .Sprinkle the crushed Butterfinger over the Cool Whip Layer to cover entire cake.Slice and serve.

I love this cake.It is inexpensive to make for a BBQ or picnic and easy too.You can vary your cake in many ways by using a different topping-Heath Snickers, and Reeses are good,or you can use chocolate Cool Whip.Try using peanut butter topping instead of caramel with Reeses instead of Butterfinger,or Butterscotch topping and Snickers.Mix it up,any way you go it is a great dessert. My step daughter even asked for this for her birthday next year-well a layered version with white cake instead of chocolate.

What Are you Eating This Week?

I like to eat different things.I get so tired of the same old meals week in and week out-so I try hard to find new things to make. This week I am combining some newly discovered favorites with a few old staples depending on time.

Monday-Bacon and cheese stuffed burgers with mac and cheese. Fresh blueberries and cherries with whipped cream

Tuesday-.Beer and Cheese Brats with twice baked potatoes, baked beans and pudding.

Wednesday-Salmon and rice stuffed tortillas with onion rings.

Thursday-Pizza or take-out

Friday-Bacon wrapped chicken breast ,mashed potatoes, broc and cheese and deviled eggs.

Saturday-Grilled steak and hot dogs, pasta salad, corn, apples and caramel.

Sunday-Mini corn dogs, fries, and peanut butter banana pops.

My family is very picky about some things so I throw the fruit and veggies in there when I can.I usually do them on alternate meals..lunch some days, dinner others so they don't complain too much.My oldest lives for broccoli and cheese and corn,my middle one loves the fruit and my daughter eats like a bird no matter what I make.

So what are you eating? Do you have a favorite summer recipe?
