Old Factory Candles Gift Set Review and Giveaway
I love candles. I am always burning one scent or another to keep my house smelling nice and fabulous. I enjoy a variety of smells and am always keeping my eye out for something new.
The Old Factory Candles sets allow you to try three different scents for one price. The candles are small so this is a great way to experience new smells without committing to a large sized candle, and it means you don't have to wait forever to finish one scent before starting another.
I love that they come in sets with related, themed smells too. You can select the one that fits you best, or go for a group you have never tried before. The variety makes these a great gift too!
I received the Happy Holidays set for review. I saw right away that all of the candles were white, even though they have different scents. Personally, I like the colors of my candles almost as much as the scents, but them being white means they can go with any decor, which is a plus when gifting them.
I noticed these do not have a really strong scent to them. Many times a candle will have an overpowering smell that can be bothersome to guests, kids or people with sensitivities. That does not seem to be an issue with these. I burned one in my bedroom for hours and even though I could smell it there, the scent did not travel to other rooms. I thought this was perfect for burning different smells in different places, and also to keep the smell contained to the area in which you want it.
I wanted to see how much burn time I could get from each of these so I lit one and let it go for a few hours before putting it out. The next day I let it go for around 6 hours and it had not even melted to the bottom of the jar. Many times that is a problem, you let a candle go for a long time and then the wick slides and moves in the melted wax. I had no movement with these and was able to burn them at will with no concern.
