Flashing Devil Horns for a Complete Halloween Look
Even though Halloween is over for another year, that does not mean you have to stop dressing up. There are so many times when a costume can be fitting, you just have to find them. Charity events, birthday parties and themed socials are only a few times when you can break out the accessories and get to work on a fun, fantastic look.
This season I was so busy I didn't go to any parties for Halloween, but I did find a chance to dress up a time or two at home. After all, costumes can be used for spice all year long. I thought the cute glowing devil horns I was sent for review were the perfect touch for a night of fun.
Before I even got a chance to see them however, my daughter decided she wanted them for herself. She loved how bright the red color was and how cute they were when lit. She though these would go perfect with her dress up collection, and I have to admit, she was right.
The horns are on a black plastic headband, making them simple and easy to put on. The horns are made from a squishy plastic feeling material as well, reminding me of those night lights everyone used to have. The lights in these turn on with the flip of a switch on the back of the center piece, taking you from fierce to flashing in seconds.
She has used these for a combined period of several hours and so far the lights still work fine. The only thing I noticed was they are not good for wearing on rides or anything going upside down, because the horns do detach from the headband. This may be on purpose, as it looks like they could actually work with other toppers too, but I have no idea if it is supposed to be that way or if they just come off easily.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
