Kaijudo Takes Over-With Update
Has the Kaijudo craze taken over your house? A few weeks ago,I didn't even know who or what Kaijudo was,but then my children discovered it,and that all changed.
Kaijudo is a new show on the Hub about a 14 year old boy named Ray.Not only does he live in the real world like we do,but also is able to see a fantasy world that is visible to only a few others. In the show Ray and his friends act like any other kids their age, except when dealing with the fantasy world and its characters.
We were sent a cute Kaijudo party package thanks to Mom Select. It contained some great headbands for the kids to wear and practice their moves...
The kids all seem to enjoy the new Kaijudo sensation. They had fun trying to master their own moves, watching the episodes and relaxing with some snacks. Each of the kids took home their own headband too,so they could continue the Kaijudo experience at home.
I am sure we will be watching more of this show at our house once it starts on the Hub and you should too.Grab a snack and settle down to a fun filled adventure that is kid friendly and works for various ages.We had girls and boys from age 3 through 11 at the party and most of them were happy with everything.I will say the older girls lost interest about halfway through and ended up starting the food while the others finished watching.
***Update-I just wanted to mention a little more about this show.We have had the chance to view more of the episodes and the kids are still thrilled with it.They now want to purchase the Kaijudo Battle Decks so they can play with their friends.I also had a chance to show it to a few new parents and they said they planned to look into it as well.It looks like Kaijudo is the next big thing for the little ones this year!
***All opinions on my blog are my own and may not be the same as anyone else..that's why they are mine. The mentioned party pack items were provided in order to write a fair and honest review. No other compensation was received and my opinions were not influenced by receiving sample items***

Madagascar 3,Childrens Claritin and Our Party
My kids have been fans of the Madagascar movies since the first time they watched them.I guess I can't complain. After all, the characters are funny, the movies are cute and they are kid friendly too!
I was sent a cute packet of information and supplies to host a Madagascar 3: Europes Most Wanted party a couple weeks ago.I was stocked with printable activities and games, fun recipes, decorations and more.I was also sent a copy of the first two movies and some great samples of Claritin and Childrens Claritin to share with my guests as a member of the Childrens Claritin Mom Crew through Mom Select.
The kids enjoyed being together and watching the films. They made masks of their favorite Madagascar characters and we ate animal crackers and zoo mix for movie viewing snacks. The kids used edible pens to draw on the crackers, but I didn't get a chance to snap a picture before they ate them.We also played games while waiting to eat after the movies.
The moms loved having a chance to relax and enjoy the day,and to receive some great Claritin samples. Some of them were used by the guests right there at the party when we ate outdoors. This made it easy for the moms and kids who had allergies to get them under control so they could enjoy their day.
A special thanks to my sponsors at Mom Select and Childrens Claritin,as well as the sponsors at Crowdtap who provided the digital party pack!

My Zombie Baby Purse-Great for Womens Costume
I just couldn't wait to share this review with you.I recently received a fun new backpack purse from Plus Size Costume Supercenter.Look at this...
The Zombie Baby Backpack comes with straps for carrying and an attached brain bib.The bloody purse can hold my wallet, phone, mints, body spray, pocket knife and eyeshadow with a little room left. This is pretty good for something that is designed as a costume accessory! The material has stayed clean and snag free and the purse is a big attention grabber.
I have had the best time with my Zaby (Zombie Baby). My husband thinks I am nuts, but I don't care.My little deformed zombie has been going with me everywhere. When the husband is driving,Zaby will sit on my knee and wave at the people going by.Of course I had to take her into Walmart, mainly just to screw with people.I plan to add her to my costume this year too.I am thinking momma zombie and her precious baby, maybe even a bloody stroller for the perfect touch?
This is just one of the fun items you can get for Halloween or anytime from Plus Size Costume Supercenter. The huge selection includes costumes, wigs, shoes, accessories and more for the perfect look each and every time. They really do have a great assortment of Plus Size Costumes too. This is perfect for me because it is hard to find a good quality costume that can accommodate a large chest.I have had a hard time trying to find costumes that can handle this issue in the past, but with the selection available here, that isn't a problem.
Here are a couple of my other favorites from the site..
The beautiful Morticia Adams Plus Size Costume
and Sexy Teacup Open Side Pump

The Fiddler by Beverly Lewis-Book Review
I like to read a variety of different books just to keep it interesting.I usually go for something that has gotten good reviews or a cover that catches my eye.Recently, though,I was offered the chance to review The Fiddler by Beverly Lewis. This is not normally a book I would have tried, but I decided to give it a chance anyway.
The story is about a talented violinist,Amelia, who plays fiddle music on the side. She is just as good at both types of music, but is drawn to the country style fiddling over the more classic violin playing. Her father and agent, however, have no idea she plays fiddle and are insistent that she tour and perform all over the world.
After a secret performance at a country show where she is known as Amy Lee,Amelia takes a wrong turn in a storm and ends up stranded near a farmhouse in Hickory Hollow.Deciding she can't sit in the car all night, she runs to the house to discover an Amish man,Michael, is staying there. The two have an instant attraction and the emergency overnight stay turns into a getaway visit.Amelia (Amy) stays with a female friend of Michael's and her Amish family where she doesn't quite fit in.
After returning to her home and family,Amelia has some serious choices to make including her music career and her walk with god.She discovers a new belief in herself and is determined to follow the path she believes god intends for her.During this time neither her,nor her Amish friend can forget about the other, but both believe it was just a moment in the past.
I won't tell you the rest,so you can read the book yourself.I will say that I enjoyed reading this story and being reminded that sometimes we don't always know what paths your life may take. The glimpse into a different way of life was interesting and the story shows that just because we aren't all the same on the outside,we still have the same trials, worries and issues as everyone else.
***All opinions on my blog are my own and may not be the same as anyone else..that's why they are mine.I received a sample item thanks to Bethany House Publishers in order to write a fair and honest review. No other compensation was received and my opinions were not influenced by receiving the sample item***

Weird Freaky Bug
Last week at my husbands parents house the kids found this thing in the tree.I have no idea what it is,but it appeared to be eating or at least destroying the inside of the tree. There were more of them in there but I didn't want the kids touching them to get them out.I rolled this one with a stick to take the picture.
I didn't hurt it but it is so very gross that I admit I wanted to smash it.
Any idea what it is?

Happy Birthday Husband
My darling husband turned 31 on Friday.I don't know if I have mentioned that he is a twin,so I had the cake made for both of them.It is supposed to be an airbrushed camo design from Walmart bakery..I guess it turned out ok.
We went to his parents for dinner and cake.We had mashed potatoes, mac and cheese and KFC chicken-yum! We had given him his gifts before so I don't have photos of those. He received a big BBQ,some zombie targets for the range and a Captain America ornament from us as well as some cash from the in-laws.
The kids played outside and everyone had a good time.I love that he is a little bit older now..but he reminds me that I am still older than he is..blah!

Walt Disney Studios Presents Frozen-Coming November 2013
BURBANK, Calif. (June 11, 2012) – Walt Disney Animation Studios presents an epic tale of adventure and comedy in “Frozen,” a computer-animated feature film slated for the big screen in November 2013. Directed by Chris Buck (“Tarzan,” “Surf’s Up”) and produced by Peter Del Vecho (“Winnie the Pooh,” “The Princess and the Frog”), “Frozen” features the vocal talents of film/TV/stage star Kristen Bell as Anna, a young dreamer about to take the adventure of a lifetime, and Tony Award ®-winning actress Idina Menzel as Elsa the Snow Queen. The movie will feature original songs by Broadway greats Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
In “Frozen,” a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, so Anna (voice of Bell) must team up with Kristoff, a daring mountain man, on the grandest of journeys to find the Snow Queen (voice of Menzel) and put an end to the icy spell. Encountering Everest-like extremes, mystical creatures and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.
Bell has starred in a variety of films, including the comedies “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” and “Couples Retreat,” and the upcoming films “Hit & Run,” “Some Girls” and the Farrelly Brothers’ “Movie 43.” On the small screen, Bell is currently starring in the Showtime series “House of Lies” alongside Don Cheadle; she has also starred in “Heroes” and “Veronica Mars.” Broadway credits include “The Crucible” and “Tom Sawyer.”

My New Favorite Drinks
I have discovered two new juice drinks that I just can't get enough of.They were both at Walmart for $1 per bottle,so I grabbed a few to try.
The Mystic Orange Carrot is amazing. You can taste the orange, yet it is sweet and just plain delicious
The Sobe Strawberry Daiquiri is super yummy too.I am not a big fan of strawberry flavored items,so I wasn't sure if I would like this one,but it was much better than expected.
If you are looking for a new flavor of juice,or just a new drink to try, grab one of these and see what you think!

Potty Cover provides on the go clean
I hate using public toilets.I am not talking just simple dislike,I mean literally hate to use them.I don't like the idea of sitting on the same seat as a stranger and I don't want my kids doing it either. If we are out somewhere and the kids need to go,I try to get them to hold it until we go home,or can stop at the home of someone I know. Thanks to my sponsors at Potty Cover,I no longer have to stress about whose behind has been on the seat before ours.
Potty Cover is a disposable toilet seat cover that goes over the sides and front to keep germs away. The non-woven fabric is covered with a layer of plastic to make the perfect waterproof shield against germs.
Each Potty Cover comes sealed in a small bag,so they are the perfect size for on the go needs. You can keep one in your car, purse, diaper bag,gym bag or anywhere else you might need them. You get 6 individually wrapped covers per package. This allows you to keep a few and share a few with a friend or slip one in the kids backpacks in case they need them at school.
I found these super easy to use and fast to apply. When you are finished, simply toss it in the trash and go on your way.The package is easy to open and they really don't take up much space at all.You could even slip one in your pocket while hiking or camping for those "rustic facilities".
*I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Wreck It Ralph in Theaters November 2nd
Walt Disney Animation Studios and Emmy®-winning director Rich Moore (TV’s “The Simpsons,” “Futurama”) take moviegoers on a hilarious, arcade-game-hopping journey in “Wreck-It Ralph.” Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly, “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby,” “Step Brothers”) is tired of being overshadowed by Fix-It Felix (voice of Jack McBrayer, “30 Rock”), the “good guy” star of their game who always gets to save the day. But after decades doing the same thing andseeing all the glory go to Felix, Ralph decides he’s tired of playing the role of a bad guy. He takes matters into his own massive hands and sets off on a game-hopping journey across the arcade through every generation of video games to prove he’s got what it takes to be a hero.
On his quest, he meets the tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Jane Lynch, TV’s “Glee”) from the first-person action game Hero’s Duty. But it’s the feisty misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman, “The Sarah Silverman Program”) from the candy-coated cart racing game, Sugar Rush, whose world is threatened when Ralph accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens the entire arcade. Will Ralph realize his dream and save the day before it’s too late? “Wreck-It Ralph” crashes onto the big screen on November 2, 2012, in Disney Digital 3D™ in select theaters.

Princess Reagan Loves Mogo Bands
If you have been coming here long, then you have surely seen a post or two about the princess.Reagan loves to dress up and be pretty and is a fanatic for shoes and accessories. Thanks to my wonderful sponsor at Mogo ,she now has a new favorite in her collection.
Mogo Bands are super cute bracelets that can be added together to make a headband or even a belt. The bands have magnetic anchors on them that allow the interchangeable charms to be moved from place to place on the bands,or from band to band to make new creative styles. You can get the bands in a variety of colors including the two tone style Reagan loves best.
You can grab your own charms in sets of 3 for only $12.I had no idea they made "boy themed" items. Now my son wants some of his own. There are a ton of charms to choose from so you can find a style collection that fits just about any need.
The Paige Collection even offers a nice variety of "dressy" charms for a cute look that mom can wear too.I received a black band and the white Diamond Girl charms to try and I love it.I plan to get some other charms for myself as well.I am thinking of some other colors from the Paige Collection like pink and purple.
Mogo also offers a cute selection of other items including the Mosies Slippers,Click Flops and Mogo Shades.Reagan was sent a pair of the pink shades to review. She loves being able to change the charms to match her outfits and I loved that they are sturdy and stylish too.
All of the items we reviewed were a success. The charms are not hard to switch around but stay attached when you are wearing them.We have not lost any of the charms we were sent, which is a big improvement over some of the other items we have tried.I am pleased with the products and plan to purchase more in the future.
