Today my youngest son Aiden brought a list home from school.On this list were the names of the kids in his class.
"Mom",he said,"the teacher said we have to give Valentines to every kid in our class..even the ones we don't like!"
I had told the boys earlier this year that they would be doing this exact thing,but since this is their first year in public school,they had to see it for themselves.I told Aiden I would get him some cards to hand out and he said "OK, mom, but I don't want any gushy ones.I will NOT give out love cards to BOYS!"
My kids crack me up.
