The Fun Kids Art Bundle Is Not So Fun

I was excited about this for my daughter but was not thrilled with this set after opening it. The set came with 3 lollipop suckers, but two of them were cracked and broken, and the third slid right off the stick after I removed the wrapper. It is cold outside and the suckers could have been damaged in shipping, so I could have overlooked that if the kits were great...but only one was.

The Fun Foilz kit is something we have tried before, so it should have been really simple and fun. You are supposed to peel off the designated sticker areas, apply one of the 5 sheets of foil, press and peel. This should leave the foil color on the exposed area which creates a shiny picture. However, our kit didn't work at all. The sticker area was not at all sticky, and the parts that were supposed to stay attached were peeling off as soon as we opened it. No matter how hard we tried, we could not get even one piece of foil to stick to the pictures. We never had this problem with other kits of this type, so it had to be something in this set.

The Sequin Art kit was really cute and turned out to be the only thing good about this set. It comes with 4 sequin colors and the ladybug picture sheet. You simply peel off the circle stickers on the picture, and press a sequin to each space to create a sparkly sequin ladybug photo. This kit worked perfectly. The stickers peeled easily and there was plenty of stickiness to the paper behind. The sequins attached firmly and it was fun for my daughter to do. I would get this kit again if it came alone, but not with the bundle because of the other issues.
