RFID Protection Sleeves Help Keep Your Information Secure

With so many things to worry about in life, the last thing we need is another things on that list. I try to do anything I can to make my life easier and that includes protecting my bank, debit and credit card account safe from prying eyes.

It is one thing to avoid unsafe sites or use only secure checkouts when shopping online, but how can you guarantee those same kinds of protection while out in the stores? Yes, you can carry cash, but that has risks of it's own, so what do you do?

One way you can help avoid someone getting your information is to use RFID blocking sleeves on all your cards. It only takes a second for someone to walk by and scan you without you even knowing it happened. These simple to use protector sleeves feature multiple layers designed to block the handheld scanners often used to steal your account information. A layer of aluminum and a copper substrate layer are covered by the outer paper layer, but you would never know it by looking at them. These compact little sleeves are small enough to fit into most card slots with the card inside them, so you don't even have to change wallets or card holders.

I don't have one of the tools used to steal numbers, so I cannot prove that these work 100%, but to me, if something this small and simple can help prevent it in any way, it is well worth giving it a try.

My Konjac Sponge All Natural Fiber Bamboo Charcoal Facial Sponge

I had never tried a Konjac Sponge before this, so I had no idea what to expect from it. I knew it was supposed to be helpful for your face and assist in keeping pores clean, but that was really all I had to go on.

The first thing I noticed was that in the package, this sponge is hard as a rock. It reminded me of sea sponge, only it looked noting like anything I had ever seen. Once you add water to this, it instantly becomes soft and pliable, so much so that, except for the color, it seemed nothing like how it started. You can see in my photos the difference between the dry sponge in the first one and the wet sponge in the other two. The sponge absorbed the water so quickly, I had to squeeze some of it out before trying this on my face because it was dripping everywhere.

The sponge almost felt soapy once it had absorbed some water and felt almost strange when rubbing it across my face. Not strange in a bad way, just something different from any of the makeup type sponges I had tried before. It was not uncomfortable, and did not seem to have any smell or anything to it, just a very different sensation than I expected. It was super soft and glided easily across my skin.

After a week or so of using this, I could tell a definite change in my face. I normally have breakouts during menstruation, so that is when I chose to use this. I noticed a reduction of acne and a better overall appearance to my face after using this and it seems to have almost stopped the normal breakouts that I usually experience.

I like that this comes on a string for hanging, so I don't have to worry about it touching on anything that could transfer to my face and it dries easily this way too. The next time I need it I just get it wet and use it again, no hassle.

DownIT Skull Shot Glass

I love having things that everyone I know does not have. I like unique, fun and flashy things, so when I had an opportunity to review the Skull Shot Glass, I knew it was right up my alley. I am not a huge drinker, but this looked like so much fun to have.

My glass arrived in a box, nicely packaged and in perfect shape. I was instantly surprised by how big this was, much larger than a normal shot glass. Of course, this is to accommodate the skull in the center.

You can clearly see the skull design without anything in this, but once you fill it, the results are even better. The skull stands out nicely and adds a fun effect to your drinking game or a neat way to present to your guests. It is even fun to use when having a drink after work or to end your day. This would make a great gift and if you purchased multiples, would look nice lining a bar or on a shelf too.

Cleaning this is just as easy as any other glass. It washed with soap and water and nothing was stuck inside or left behind. It dries well and didn't have any spots or anything after. This is made of a thicker glass, which I found nice. It makes me more confident about using it, and less worried that it will slip and break.

HealthyWiser Ph Test Strips for Urine and Saliva

I always knew the ph levels in your body had effect on some things, but I had no idea how much it really affected your body. I was totally unaware that having a level too high or too low could cause physical issues that I suffer from on a weekly basis.

Gripsafe Silicone Gloves

I love to cook and bake and am always finding new recipes to try. The more new things I find to create, also means more time in the kitchen around the hot oven and burners. I am accident prone, so you can do the math.

I try to find items for the kitchen that make my life easier. From handy tools to new kitchen concepts, I like to see how well they fit into my lifestyle. One of the new paths I have been trying is silicone kitchen items. I had tried bakeware, candy molds and pan liners, but had never used the gloves before, so when I saw them available for review, I thought I would give it a chance.

One thing I loved about the silicone gloves was the size. They were large enough for me to slip on and off with ease, making it less of a task when in the middle of cooking. I like that they are easy to clean and don't become frazzled and frayed after washing like so many cloth type pot holders do. The silicone washes in minutes and they dry quickly too, so even having to wash them by hand isn't a problem.

I like the bright orange color and the cute heart pattern of the gloves and they work great for popping in things like bread, cookies or frozen pizza. The one thing I didn't really like was they they seemed to get hot when using them for something more stable like a casserole or cake pan. I found myself looking for somewhere to set the pan quickly when they heat became too much for my fingertips. I didn't really notice this issue anywhere else on the gloves, but it did get hot a few times in the top area of the finger parts.

That said, they are only designed to handle temperatures up to 450 degrees, so even though the temps may have been in that range, the food inside the glass pans felt too hot for me. They worked well for turning items on the grill and made it simple to remove them quickly too. Overall, if used for quick transfer items or lower temps, these are a nice addition to my silicone collection.

Vita Sciences Nervex Neuropathy Pain Relief Cream

After having so many surgeries on my foot, the nerve damage is unreal. I have almost constant stabs, tingles and searing pains that just do not go away. I take medication, which I am sure helps it some, but it is still bothersome to the point that it literally makes you think about just numbing the whole thing for good.

I have tried several over the counter topical creams and lotions to try and reduce the nerve pain, and have had some success with them so far, but nothing that makes me want to keep coming back to it. After my last surgery, 3 weeks ago, the doctor suggested trying something else to assist with the pain. I do not want to be on multiple medications, and I obviously have to walk and live with it, so I decided to see what else I could find.

I happened across the Nervex Neuropathy Pain Relief Cream, and applied for a review. The worst that could happen was it wouldn't work fully like everything else, right? To my surprise, this actually helped quite a bit. I applied it to the areas I could, avoiding the places where the incisions and stitches were, and waited to see what happened.

I could feel a lessening of the pains after applying the cream. I can't say it took away every tingle of pain, but I doubt there is anything that will do that. It did, however, minimize the pains I had and make me less aware of them than I had been before. The sharpness was dulled, and allowed me to continue with what I was doing without having to stop and wait for the pain to pass. This was much better than what I was dealing with before, so that was a big plus for me.

After continued use of this, I have noticed multiple times where the pains were really bad before applying this, and much more manageable after. I have used it before doing something strenuous on the weak foot, and as a spot treatment too. Both ways seems to give me relief and make getting through the day more bearable.
