Flip Flop Vinyl from Meca Brush

I love vinyl.I have an obsession with it.I like to have vinyl decals on my walls,windows,mirrors..even my vehicles have them.As you can imagine when I was offered a chance to review this cute flip flop vinyl decal from Meca Brush,I said yes!

I waited only a few days for my decal to arrive and when it did,I was thrilled with the quality of it.The colors are bright and pretty and the detail is nice too.Plus they sent me this awesome surprise decal...

                                                                  how great is that!

I was able to apply these with minimal effort and no tearing or bumps occurred which is a huge plus.I have had vinyl decals that were a huge pain to use,but not these. The easy to follow directions are included to make application a snap. The decals can be used on lockers, windows, mirrors, doors, helmets, walls and more!

Vinyl decals are just the start of the available products from Meca Brush. The also offer airbrushed items like this cute Hello Kitty shirt..

or these amazing batting helmets

There are tons of super cute items available from this site.So many in fact, that I have found over 30 items I would purchase for my children and I am still browsing! Many of the items are personalized as well, which makes them even better in my opinion. You really have to go see for yourself to get the full range of products available.Plus right now you can save $1 off any order by using the code meca1264

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Skillet Bacon Jam

I tried the strangest sounding food this week,or strange to me anyway.Skillet Bacon Jam is a mix of Niman Ranch Bacon rendered with onions, balsamic and other spices. The mixture is then cooked and pureed until it becomes the spreadable, bacony, goodness that is Skillet Bacon Jam.

When I first opened this and showed it to the kids, they were a little unsure of it because of the look.I admit it does look a little strange, almost reminding me of  shredded beef or pork but with smaller meat pieces.I tried a small sample right out of the jar and was surprised with the taste.I don't know what I expected, but this was almost a  sweet, BBQ type flavor. The bacon was not too hard and the product is easy to spread.I gave this to the kids on toast with scrambled eggs and they loved it.My youngest son even tried to sneak the jar to his room, which is a raving review from him.

I liked the product, though I would love to see a variety with more of the bacon flavor and less of the spice,as I am not a fan of  BBQ flavored products.Even so,I would definitely eat this again.I could see it working great on a turkey sandwich or smeared on an onion bagel.I bet it would be good cooked into an omelette as well.I am excited to try different options to see how I like it best, but first,I have to go buy more because we have used most of this jar already!

For questions or inquiries, you can email to- eat@skilletstreetfood.com or stop by the website for more information

We Will Miss You Mother

Today is a sad day for my family.I kind of thought that knowing it was coming would make it easier, but it doesn't. My great-grandmother passed away around midnight last night and we are all feeling the pain today.I mentioned before that we called her "Mother" because the women in my family do not like the word grandmother..they like to feel young as long as possible I guess.

I remember being a little girl and going to spend weekends with her.We used to bake cookies,go to yard sales, attend church functions..it seemed she was always on the go.In the last few years,I am ashamed to say we didn't spend time with her like we should have.I guess we always think there is more time and then suddenly there isn't.I went to visit her last week with my sister and grandmother, not knowing it was the last time I would ever see her alive.I had planned to go see her again today, but that wasn't meant to be.I ask you to bear with me this week if I am behind on posting, drawing winners or anything else blog related,as I have much to do and really don't feel like doing anything.

I am happy she lived a long and full life.Mother was 92 years old and she had outlived 4 husbands,so we really couldn't have asked for more.I am glad her suffering is over and she is not in pain, but I am so sad to know I will never see her again. My sister is pregnant and she will never get to see her great, great grandson.I wish we never had to face this in life and for me,2 grandparents in less than a year is almost unbearable. My comfort lies in knowing they fully believed they are walking with God now,and for that I am grateful.I cannot imagine knowing you are dying and having nothing to soften the blow.

I will miss you Mother, even though I have failed you miserably in the last few years.I let time slip away from me and now I can never take that back.I am sorry for not being there more, for not giving you a chance to know my children better and for not taking more time just to let you know how much you really did mean to me.I love you always.

Playing With Fire

*This post is intended for adults only.If you are underage or sensitive to adult content-CLICK AWAY NOW!

I love a good book.I love to read a book when it is nice and quiet and I am all alone.I enjoy reading in the bubble bath, relaxing in a chair or even lying in bed. There are some books, however, that you just might prefer to read with your mate close by.

I was sent a copy of Playing With Fire to review thanks to  Good Vibes, and I must say...BRAVO.Now I know some of you probably don't care for this type of book, and that is ok.However,I also know, many of you are dying for something that makes you want to jump in bed with your lover and get busy. Not to say that you wouldn't anyway, but really,a hot story gets the juices flowing that much faster. This collection of short stories is sure to have one that will work for you..or more than one!

I am not going to deny that this book is scandalous..but that is the point. If you want a soft, nice story..this is not the book for you.Playing With Fire embraces the bad in all of us.From fantasy filling to pure, raw sex, this book has it all. There were one or 2 stories that I wasn't really fond of.It could be that I just didn't get it,or got distracted while reading it,so I am not going to say that EVERY story was great. With a collection like this, though, that's still a huge win for me.I call this 230 pages of foreplay..try reading it with a partner or take turns reading to each other..I bet you both win!
This is just one of the many great items offered by Good Vibes. They also have a  great line of sexy gifts and games and a nice variety of sex toy kits for extra fun!

* I was provided the mentioned item to assist in my review. The opinions are my own.

My Little Lulu

Today was the first day of school for the boys. While Princess Lulu and I waited to pick them up,she decided to sit on the windowsill of the thrift store where the bus stop is.Being so tiny, she had no problem sitting on this 2 inch ledge.

I,of course,am standing beside her when she looks up at me and says,"Mom,why aren't you sitting here?" I said," because I am fine right where I am"

She thought about this for a second and then said,"Mom,is your butt too big to sit on it?..cause mine's not".

Geez..what a great thing to have pointed out in front of about 20 others waiting on their children! Sorry Princess we can't all weigh 35 pounds like you..gotta love em!

TShirtPrinting.net Review

Getting Ready for School has been crazy in our house.I had to register my daughter for K12 this week and get my boys ready for public school too..ugh.One of the things I hate about Back to School..the never ending lists of items the kids will be needing, wanting and just dying to have.

It seems like every year there are more events, teams, trips etc to do.I guess I will be group leader or class mom more then a few times this year! I have found it is easier to have the kids all matching to keep track of a group when you go on field or class trips. What a better way to do this, than to have customized shirts made. Thanks to http://www.tshirtprinting.net I was sent this cute sample shirt for my little monkey to try out.
I wasn't sure what he would think of the randomly selected color, but he was fine with it.This is an example of their mascot monkey, but the printing can be customized to make the perfect shirt for any wearer.I can think of many uses for these shirts and hoodys. From supporting a favorite cause to using for travel wear for the team, you can't go wrong with custom printed shirts. The high quality silk screen printed shirts can be ordered in quantities from 12 to 100,000, so no worries about having enough!

They have a great selection of items which can be seen fully in their catalog. There are unlimited possibilities available in men's,women's,kids, hooded sweatshirts, tanks and more.Pick a color, find your design and order..it's that simple. My shirt was very nicely printed and arrived quickly.I was thrilled to see that even after a few trips through the wash,it hasn't faded or pulled in any way.The colors are nice and bright, plus  the design is cute and eye catching too.

From someone who has a dance group to the scout leader going on a camping trip, this is a great way to keep track of everyone and show your spirit all at the same time.Check them out and order a catalog to see all the options available.

**I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Wet Synergy Plus Cool Tingle Lubricant Review

**This post is intended for adults only.If you are underage or sensitive to sexual content..click away now!
I know I have mentioned before my love for sexual aides.I am not ashamed to say I have a collection of accessories to make bedroom time more fun.Sometimes it might be an outfit, toy, lube or a lotion..you just never know.

My newest item of interest is the Wet Synergy Plus Cool Tingle Lubricant. This latex friendly, water based lubricant is designed to provide long lasting moisture..with a kick. Being familiar with Wet products I was sure I would like the lubricating effect of this lube, and I was right. It moisturizes without being sticky,so no running to wash your hands before you finish playing! It is easy to use too, just open, squeeze a little into your hand and apply where needed.Because it is latex friendly, you can even use this with all your favorite toys!

Of course,my favorite part is the tingling sensation. The cooling peppermint adds a little extra zing for an increased feeling and pure satisfaction.I found it to be cooling but not burning.A little of this lube goes a long way,so I suggest using it sparingly at first until you find the right amount for you.I had no problems at all with it, but the first time we used it the husband had issues.I guess, in my excitement, I must have applied a little too much for his liking.Once we removed a little though, he was more than happy with the results.Clean-up is a snap and storage is simple too.The 1.9 oz bottle can go almost anywhere.

Wet Synergy is just one of the many fantastic items offered by  Good Vibrations Sex Toys. Be sure to stop by the site and check out the rest!

My Movie Reviews-Sanctum

I waited forever for Sanctum to come out so I could see it.I really need to stop watching previews so I won't have the desire to see soo many movies.

Anyway,I was excited to see this and settled down to watch. The movie starts with Josh (Rhys Wakefield) heading into the jungle where his dad (Richard Roxburgh) has a forward base camp inside the cave they have been exploring. After Josh reaches the bottom, they discover a storm has hit and they cannot reach the others at the top of the cave.Trapped below, with the water rising, the crew has to find another way out.

I won't tell to much of what happens so I won't ruin this for anyone else.I will just say that while trying to find a way to escape, the members of the diving party have to explore parts of the cave never gone into before.Through some surprise twists and expected outcomes, the movie spirals into a fight to survive.

There are a few great scenes in the movie and a couple I could have done without.I think, all in all, it was worth seeing.I would even watch it again because I always seem to catch something new when I watch a movie a few times.I liked the unexpected parts and there are some beautiful scenes inside the cave.About halfway through, I had figured out the ending, but I was still captivated enough to watch it the whole way through without getting up,which is rare for me.I wouldn't pay a ton to see this but it is worth the cost of renting or PPV.

Our DaGeDar party was a success!

DaGeDar..have you heard of them? I admit I hadn't until I was given the chance to host a  DaGeDar Party thanks to Mom Select. DaGeDar are the newest in fun for boys and girls alike. When I opened my package and saw all this,I was as excited as the kids to try it out.

Because this party was geared for boys the same age as my Monkey,I agreed to let him run the show.Mom Select sent enough supplies to invite a few of his friends and allow them all to have something to take home. The kids were excited to try something new, none of them had any idea what DaGeDar was about and when they saw the super size ball bearings with their awesome designs, they couldn't wait to get their hands on them!

We began by building the track and launcher so they could race.Assembling the track was pretty easy and within minutes we were ready to go.The next step,of course, was deciding who got which DaGeDar.Each of the kids saw one that they really wanted, and keeping it fair is always a must in our house.I decided to number them and have the kids draw numbers for packs. Then they were allowed to trade around until everyone was happy.

The kids started by playing the basic racing game. This is done by 2 players dropping their balls into the racing track at the same time and the first one to finish the track wins. After a few rounds of this, they decided to play the Score Zone Challenge. This was done by going in rounds. We used the launcher for this one to add a little variety. The balls circled the track and landed in the score zones. We added their scores and the one with the most points at the end of 7 rounds was the winner
The cool thing about DaGeDar,is you can make up your own rules and create your own versions of the game. This allows the kids to experiment and use their imaginations too.The favorite of the items was definitely the Vortex Spinner.Using the spinners, you can engage in DaGeDar Battle and the last man standing wins.

The only complaint I had about the item at all was that the top part of the track was a little unbalanced. This made it difficult to keep it standing upright unless someone was holding the end.I assume it is made this way to allow for variance in the launching.By holding the end higher or lower, you can control the speed and angle of the ball. The kids never even noticed this, maybe because they were too busy having fun playing it to care.I do think if you wanted to leave the track assembled and standing between games,it would be beneficial to have an additional piece or prop to set that end on,but other then that,DaGeDar was a huge hit!

There are currently 6 different sets to choose from,as well as a variety of accessories to use with them. The Two Lane Battle Jump Raceway is next on our list.My boys have already requested more of these for Christmas,so I see many more DaGeDar races in my future!

* I received the mentioned items to assist in my review. No other forms of compensation were received. The opinions are my own and that of my children and are in no way influenced by receipt of said items.

Mamaw Turns 70

Mamaw,in case you didn't know,is my maternal grandmother. We are strange in this family..we don't go by our correct names. My grandmother has been Mamaw all my life. Her mother, who is now 92, is know to us as,Mother,my mom is called Ganny by the kids and my grandfather was Papaw.

Anyway,my Mamaw turned 70 on Sunday. It started with her asking for a gathering at my cousins, and ended up with the family luau birthday instead. With my cousin recently married, and my sisters and I having families, this was the first time we were all together for a birthday in about 5 years, some of us even longer!
My cousin,Sara, just had her new home built and because my grandmother had asked her to be the host,we all went there. This was the first time some of the family had ever met my children (I know that's sad,but true),and they were well entertained to say the least.

The cake was Raspberry filled white cake..yum! We had hot dogs,BBQ pork, fruit kabobs, cake truffles, hawaiian bread and spinach dip, beans, pasta salad and more.My Mamaw got some great gifts including cash and gift cards, home interior products, soaps and a windchime from the kids,my son even made her a jewelry box, which the kids filled with mardi-gras style bead necklaces. Great food, plenty of laughs and an all around good day were had by all.I guess we will have to do it again sometime soon!

I Couldn't Put It Down-Marla Martenson "Diary of a Beverly Hills Matchmaker""

I love to read.I enjoy reading many different types of books from mystery to drama, romance to thrillers.I was recently given a book to review from Marla Martenson called Diary of a Beverly Hills Matchmaker.I admit, this is not my normal kind of book. The fact that the title contains the word "matchmaker" would normally send me running, but something about the description made me want to read it anyway.

As soon as I started reading it,I found myself making excuses to stop and read a little more. The book is basically little stories about the adventures of a..you guessed it..Beverly Hills Matchmaker.I loved the personality behind this book.I was able to feel the character as a person and that made the humor that much more appealing.Marla captures your attention with tales of the unreal expectations of the dating community today.I cannot imagine having to deal with some of the people in her stories.I don't have enough restraint for that job!

I liked that you are following the life of Marla as you read about her adventures. The result is a mixture of home and work, funny and real, that makes it hard to put down.I found myself being so grateful for a husband I love, who loves me, after seeing what the people in this book expect.Imagine being rejected by a man for having "only" a C cup or being over a size 2!

This is a well written book that I'm going to pass along to my sister or cousins,I think they would enjoy it as much as I did! I plan to look for more books from Marla, starting with  Excuse Me Your Soul Mate is Waiting, in the future.

You can buy Diary of a Beverly Hills Matchmaker on Amazon for only $11.66 or get the Kindle edition for $9.99,either way I suggest grabbing this for yourself. This would be perfect for taking to the beach,on the bus,in the waiting room, etc. You can easily read a story in a few minutes and start a new one the next time you pick it up.

*I was given a copy of the book to assist in my review-Thanks Marla!.The opinions are my own.

Sex toys - EdenFantasys adult toys store
I noticed a few days ago that I was in dire need of a few replenishment for my "Fun Box".I like to keep it spicy in the bedroom and my favorite way of doing that is through a variety of toys, accessories and gadgets. One of my favorite places to find fun,new items is Eden Fantasys.

As an Eden Fantasys Ambassador,I have had multiple chances to try not only their products, but the service as well.I love browsing the site for little items to surprise my husband with.I can search by theme, item, even gender to find just what I want or need right away. One of the things I love to shop for is new bedtime garments. What man doesn't love to come home from a hard nights work and find his wife in bed wearing some sexy lingerie right? For something cute but simple I suggest this Blue Babydoll and g-string...
This is a classic look that is well suited for may body shapes. The skirted bottom allows for a flirty look while not leaning toward childish.Or,if you want more naughty, role-play action, how about sexy Little Miss Muffet...

Perfect for in the bedroom or out of it as well...think Halloween! I know my husband wouldn't mind me wearing this for a sweet treat on Halloween! There are many other sexy costumes to chose from for your costume needs, be it a perfect party or private show.Even something as simple as a bra and panty set can be fun if you get the right one. From girly to daring,Eden Fantasys has you covered!

*I will receive a gift code for posting about my Eden Fantasys experiences.Stay tuned..I will be offering this code as a giveaway soon! I am posting as an Eden Fantasys Ambassador and all opinions are my own from personal experience.
